Watch out for "water ionizer comparisons" the place that the water ionizer comparison chart shows merely the highest or strongest pH/ORP for your water ionizer and/or doesn't show you their testing. That is misleading for 2 reasons: 1) You don't drink with the highest alkaline level, so the ORP to the level is irrelevant. What you should really be interested in is the ORP to the pH level you will be drinking. 2) Unless the river ionizers are now being compared side-by-side in the same location, at the same time, utilizing an ORP meter which is cleaned and calibrated prior to each test, you will possess many potential false comparisons. I look upon a water ionizer being a tool which you can use to adjust the buffers we all need up or down as desired. After two decades of using water ionizers for myself and my whole family] I can state that they are the single-best-thing I've ever used. I am very health conscious in regards to the products I buy, but have never found a much better product to recommend to others than an alkaline water ionizer.
Ionized Water, Kangen Water, Alkaline Water and Best Water Filters: Is Water Ionization the Same for those Alkaline Water Machines?
Not all alkaline water machines is the same. Some ionized water carries a higher pH using a lower ORP, which is not good. Some water ionizers offers lower, drinking levels, of pH with quite high [negative] ORP. That is excellent. Some alkaline water machines have an overabundance of watts to obtain a higher/lower variety of pH [for cleaning purposes. It's debatable whether that is good or not. Raising the watts way too high may not be the good thing to do, all things considered you do have valuable platinum coatings about the electrode plates�which you wouldn't wish to melt off when the plates got too hot. Some water ionizers have a very mineral port, and I personally really like this option [although I don't use it all of the time]. The Enagic Company, obviously, says Kangen Water is singularly the most effective alkaline water machine ever. But the Enagic Kangen Water ionizer is a water ionizer, similar to the other alkaline water machines. The Enagic company tries to persuade you [by coming up having a different name to the water, Kangen Water, for example] that Kangen Water is different than other ionized water. Kangen water will be as different from other ionized water every other water ionizer is different than the mediocre ones. I would point out that Enagic Kangen Water is superior to many water ionizers, but not better than the Vesta water ionizer, the Jupiter water ionizers, or perhaps the Chanson Miracle-Max and VS 70 water ionizers for getting an excellent, high, ORP per unit of pH. Also the modern Vesta water ionizer beats Enagic in most conceivable way.
Also, the Enagic company warns their customers in regards to the potential plate damage that is caused by making use of their strong-acidic-water setting too much or improperly.
